I'm Solo IT for a small electrical contractor. We just switched to a new business internet provider (T-Mobile) & are currently trying to equip each of our service vans with a dedicated tablet (4 total), for a few reasons: 1. Clock-in/Clock-out for the 1-4 employees on each jobsite 2. Accessing Google Cloud Services info needed for that day's job(s), like blueprints/SoW, submitting deliverables and as-builts, completion checklists, and customer contact info 3. Inventory and asset management like scanning barcodes. I need to lock down the tablets so the techs can't install their own apps while also still being able to access the needed info. We currently pay for Google Workspace Business Standard so the advanced MDM/EMM features aren't available (and we won't upgrade). The tablets are Samsung so I thought I could use the included Knox Mobile Enrollment to do that, but after doing some more research it looks like the tier that comes with the tablets doesn't include that functionality. What sorts of free MDM options are available for my use case?
