this business product is a complete nightmare because it forgets information between different chats, forces you to use this god-awful business overlay which changes your icons, and custom UI designs, and then it outright refuses to export your data. this entire business overlay should be able to be disabled by the user so it completely behaves like in personal mode. I can't imagine any business wanting to deal with this nonsense. Imagine designing a custom overlay, and other people on your team can't access it because this business model can't reference anything in different chat windows. Even if you tell it to save something to persistent memory, it tends to forget that in the business product in new chats I upgraded because ChatGPT itself suggested it so I didn't hit that three hour usage limit, and the upgrade process suggested I do the one way migration, but it didn't warn me that I basically been trapped. it did say if I downgraded I would lose my data, but it said nothing about not being able to export it. So I figured if I didn't like the business product on the one dollar trial, I could easily export my data So now I'm forced trying to strong arm support into doing a downgrade and not delete my data this is definitely NOT to safeguard privacy for a business! a owner should be able to do whatever the heck they want with their data be it downgrading, exporting, etc. and this is definitely not any sort of technical limitation because I'm a programmer myself, and there's absolutely no reason why this business product should not let you downgrade or at least export all of your data This is basically holding a business hostage, and that has to be some form of illegal shenanigans because it's completely ridiculous... And doing so probably violates laws in multiple countries. There's basically privacy laws out there that state if you want your data from a company they must comply, and this is violating that Literally when you upgrade, the only benefit is basically unlimited use, but other than that it's a massive massive downgrade and functionality loss I don't know what was going through the people who designed the business product, but this is all just a nightmare and complete insanity. Literally the only difference that should be between personal and business is simply the extra time. None of this crappy business overlay with ridiculous rules that force this overlay onto you, forgets what's between different chats, and refuses to let you export or downgrade because if it gets down to it, I will involve the authorities and file a complaint with the appropriate government entities that ChatGPT is holding my business account data hostage.
