Location: NC It has been almost a whole week since I was paid. When I went to type in my password to my account in the app (the same password I have used for over two years) the app said it was incorrect. I called the card company like 4 times over this week to try and get it fixed. When ever I put in my card number on the app it says that's not the card they have on record for me and tells me to call the number. The people on the phone say that I have to wait 24 hours longer for my card to unlock. And no one told me until today that the "reason" my card keeps locking is because when I call them on the phone and enter my information, I'm on speaker phone. That sounds like bullshit and I don't believe it. The told me I might have to get a second card to get access to my account since my first card seems to not be properly working. I don't want a second card. I didn't even want a first card. But the gm that worked out my pay told me direct deposit wasn't an option (a lie) and made me stop taking physical checks when my mom accidently ran one threw the dryer and it had to get reprinted. I am tired of this delay and more delay I have been told to wait for 24 more hours twice on the goddamn phone and I just want to transfer my money. I have never actually used the card to buy things because they will take fees for certain things I use the card for and my bank account gives me interest, the card account does not. My employer said even if my card is locked I should still be able to purchase stuff with it, but I don't want to use the card. I want to put the money in my bank account. If this second card crap doesn't work but I can still purchase things from the card directly, would I have a case against the card company?
