A customer sent his order and he realized after we shipped it that it was to an old address that he did not live at anymore.. He filed the chargeback before we even had a chance to reroute to a new address. He said he did not want to do that and just wanted to cancel the order. I told him via email that I can't cancel it because it was already in transit. His reason for the chargeback was product not received but it was still in transit. I filed all the necessary information but he won. So I am out product and money. Does the seller ever win these cases or does the bank always side with their card holder? It was only $200 worth of merchandise but just makes me mad I am responsible for him not realizing he had an old address as his ship to address. He even got shipping notification before we shipped it. It was not until it was acutally picked up that he realized his mistake. I feel like at least calling him to tell him what a thief he is. He said it did arrive at the old address and I could figure out how to get my product back.
