I used to spend hours every day messaging 20 people on LinkedIn in the first stages of my first project. Always with the risk of getting banned on LinkedIn cus of spamming. I guess this is what you do when you're bootstrapping. But it was just exhausting, results were there, but compared with the effort, it's not something you want to do on a daily basis. Once I actually figured out who my ICP was, I tried to automate it. And in two months time that actually got me around 60 demos, so 7-8 demos a week. And it generated €2.5k MRR in pipeline, keep in mind this was during the summer period. Important to know who your ICP is first! Otherwise you're just spraying and praying. My setup: 1. **Sourcing** – scrape contacts + verify emails so I'm not hitting spam folders 2. **Enrichment** – get relevant info 3. **Outreach** – write copy that relates Nothing too fancy, but it helped me a lot. It gave me back a lot of time as a bootstrapped founder, and of course helped me get to that 500 mrr milestone. But, that first stage of doing manual outbound definitely helped me a lot. Would recommend trying that first.
