I recently registered for my Amazon seller account. When I submitted everything, I was informed that I needed to submit a business license and my account was raked back to the registration process to allow me to fix my issues. When I did this, I mistakenly put my EIN where Amazon wanted me to put my business license control number. They sent me an email telling me to go back and correct this issue and resubmit my registration. However, my account was not reset back to the registration process so that I can make these changes. I have contacted Amazon support at this 5 times and have spent over two weeks on this process, trying to get them to reset my account back to the registration process so that I can make the changes to the number. Each time that I contact support, I am told that they have to contact the verification support and that they will reach out to me by email within 24 to 48 hours. But each time they reach out to me they only sent me the same email with the same instructions. No way to respond and my account does not get reset. I have been doing the circle now for so long and it’s infuriating. Has anybody had any issues with this and please tell me how did you get out of this death circle?
