So I am “self employed” and never really have to hire help. But I was asked to do a big job. Biggest I’ve ever had this fall. Where I am going to be required to sub out a lot of the work. I’m not selling product. But do I need to charge the client sales tax? I don’t have a cpa yet bc it’s always just been me. But I’ll be looking for one before next tax season. I just need to sent this customer a bill asap. One of the subs asked for a tax exempt form. My business is in PA and the client is in Virginia
