Hi, so long story short I ordered some custom latex gloves and stockings from an Etsy seller in Ukraine (I’m in the UK). Gave them my exact measurements but the gloves were so tight it cut off circulation (I have picture proof of my arms going purple) and the stockings were so big they didn’t stay up. I double checked my measurements so much so it was disappointing. In total it was £100 with talc too. The seller offered to do an exchange or refund if I send back the package (and send me shipping fee). I haven’t opened a case as it feels like a minor mistake and the seller otherwise has great reviews. However I’m a bit skeptical of sorting payment outside of Etsy and I also have no clue how to do international shipping. I also don’t know how Etsy helps if the seller already agrees on refund other than just monitor the process? I’m just not sure if it’s worth opening a case if we’ve already discussed it and agreed politely, and also how on earth to ship from the UK to Ukraine?? The postal service they used doesn’t have a drop off point within two hours of me, so that’s quite rough. All in all, bit of a mess. Such a shame because the seller was lovely so I don’t want to cause any damage to his business. But I don’t know if I need to open an official case in order to sort a return or not, it’s just a lot of money and I’m unemployed but I don’t want to damage his business too. It’s also been a couple weeks since receiving if that makes a difference, since we’ve already discussed this and shipping just seems near impossible.
