We just opened our small business 2.5 weeks ago. Unfortunately, promises were made by the subleasers that weren’t able to be kept as the management company denied them (regulation requirements for our specific type of small business) BUT we found a new place that better aligns with our values and desires for the community, gives us 4xs the space and there is no middle man. My question is how do you go about finding a business mentor without sounding desperate? This is definitely a new-to-us venture and what we (husband and wife team) may think the community desires may look way different than reality. If I need to go into specifics, I can but I’m just trying to start here.
