That makes more sense. Do you happen to know what their previous cleaning co charged? If its costing you 42% of the job to have the job that's not ideal. But it also sounds like with that 932 number your putting alot of the company's expenses against that account. 1068/the month is only leaving you $10 a hour. In that "overhead" are you looking at just that account or your company? Either way it sounds like your model is broken and if you keep the account as is you'll eventually burn out, or go broke. And with those numbers you'll never be able to hire anyone else to do that cleaning, but if you lack work losing the 1k/mo could crush you personally at the same time, if that's the case you have a few options- 1- raise your price to $3200/mo it should get you closer to $19/hr after adjustments still very low for those hours 2- attempt to adjust their schedule- see where you can either drop 40% of your labor in terms of days, or hours/day 3- eat it if you cant take the 0, find better paying accounts then attempt to raise prices or part ways with more financial stability If you need help or want to go through the math more in depth pm me. Whatever you do FIX your pricing on everything else and establish a true hourly rate that is profitable for growth NOT to create a job before taking any new projects or you'll be out of business real fast
