I end up with a few missed calls every day primarily due to not wanting to answer while talking with a client and very poor cell service in most areas I'm working in. I generally can't get good enough service to return calls until I'm back in town limits so when I get home at 8pm I generally have 4 or 5 calls to return. I usually leave them until the next morning because I feel that is too late for a business to be calling someone. I'm finding it really difficult to consistently return every phone call in a timely manner, I'm at the point where I have a pretty steady stream of work coming in (I'm currently only working my small business part time). Since I'm not struggling to fill my time is it vital that I return every call? On one hand I feel like if I don't return them I'm potentially burning a bridge with a future client when I do need them, but on the other hand spending 10 minutes per call with each person amounts to almost an hour a day I could be spending catching up with current clients, especially since most don't book when I say I'm booking two or three weeks out.
