Location: Santa Fe Springs, California So I've been out of work since Tuesday due to getting sick, and per my doctor, I should be okay to return to work today. During my time at home, I missed a call from my job's corporate office requesting me to fill out forms for leave of absence. I've never requested these forms, but when I tried to call back, the phone were supposedly not working. To my surprise, when I came in today, I can't log in because corporate claims **I** requested leave of absence until the 14th of November. The only number I had to call lead to someone out of the office, so my manager had to call. She did not get any answers other than corporate reinstating my logins. I have evidence of me stating I'd be fine by Friday and not requesting LOA in the form of my original doctor's note and the text I sent to my direct manager stating I'd only be out till Thursday. Since I've started working here, the only three people I knew that requested LOA were all terminated during their LOA. The company has also been threatening the customer service department with termination for deing severely understaffed and being unable to finish workloads as fast as when they were properly staffed. All this smells really fishy to me, so I'm going to request all of corporate's information on my supposed "request for LOA" to keep for my personal records. What should I do from here?
