I have been trying to run ads for my personal business for over two months now. Besides the fact that Meta Ads Manager is absolute rubbish, I can’t bypass an issue with them accepting my payment methods. Curious thing is that they have already taken some money from my account, but for some reason I can’t get it to work on their payments pages. So this is the situation: - I have sent a support request (which I found in the depths of this circus) asking for assistance as to why I couldn’t run ads - Someone or probably an AI bot, took two days to send me a couple of lines to either add another payment method or contact my bank. To which I said, thanks Sherlock - I had two and now have four different payment methods linked to the account so far. They all fail. The only that it’s not verified is PayPal because it says I need to contact support to verify. I mentioned this to support but they ignored this. - I have added funds to my account thinking - well, if I can add funds the already have the money in their side so funds will be used first (as per said in the ads manager). Well, not so fast - they require funds AND a payment method in case fund run out. - I don’t know what else to do. I’ve now got money stuck on there, I can’t seem to get in touch with support as this chat bot or whoever it is replies only automated stuff, and the other option is their help centre - which helps little Can someone please save me from going mental and let me know if this has happened to them? How have you bypassed it if you managed to? Also, I am also having trouble with changing my business page name. Facebook gave it an automated name and I can’t change it for the love of Christ. I have edited in page information countless times, it asks my password to confirm the change, but I can see no visual indication of the submission. It just says that it may take up to 3 days for them to review. And I’ve waiting for those 3 days enough times now. I didn’t even want a Facebook business page as I run my business on instagram. Stupid Meta just forces us to have one to do everything else. Please help
