Hi all, Clueless homeowner here who needs help removing my faucet and handles from my bathroom vanity. We're trying to take the whole fixture out and put a new one in, so we've turned off the water and unscrewed the hose from the wall. However, we can't figure out how to pull the handles/hose out because there is a nut/metal square that's preventing us from pulling the handle and hose out from the top of the vanity. We've tried unscrewing the nut that I've circled but we can't seem to get leverage on it in the small space we have underneath. What should I do? Is there a better tool than a regular wrench to try to unscrew that nut? Sweat and moisture isn't helping the situation either. Please advise!
