I really wanted to start travelling right now before even landing my first paid client which obviously sounds like a bad idea on paper. Unfortunately I'm in a situation where I'm super desperate to just start travelling ASAP (for personal reasons). But I don't want to end up like one those stories where I was naive to start too early, end up somewhere in SE Asia as a "digital nomad" just to run out of money, fail the business and have to travel back. I'm starting a branding & web agency and there seems to be movement, like interested leads and a strong network. Just due to how lucky I am with my network, I know we're going to make it but it's just a question of when, honestly. I'm only considering travelling now without cash flow because I have alright savings and mainly beause I found worldpackers. Some hosts seem to offer work related to web development, SMM, etc. They even have very promising work hours, like 2-3 hours a day. In return I'm offered free stay, 3 free meals a day, and more. I figured 2-5 hours a day isn't much at all and the work can't be that complicated especially since I'm quite experienced with this kind of work? Would it be naive to think I can use this opportunity, and while I'm working for this host for free stay, I can simultaneously build up my own business?
