I am getting ready to open a new LLC business. I have never had my own business and quite frankly, now I know why. I hired a lawyer and he’s got me everything I need to open the doors but in the file he gave me was a letter talking about the Transparency Act and basically it just said to go to this website 90 days before I plan on opening and fill out your information. Well 1) I plan on opening in October and 2) when I went to the sight this warning message popped up immediately saying i didn’t need to sign up or file, whatever it is I’m supposed to be doing. I did some research but couldn’t find anything recent. Everything dates back to March 2025 and before so is this something I need to do and do I have to really wait 90 days to open my doors?
