Currently I make about 5k a month getting paid a low hourly wage. Brutally long days and very very inconsistent. Somewhat of an on-call basis. The company wants to move me into another position making 5700 a month on salary with a company car. I’ve seen how the company works the salaried employees so it will continue to be brutal days. I’ve been offered a job at a different company with super consistent 40 hr weeks Monday-Friday making 4500 a month that would give me a huge amount of time to work towards business ventures (which has been my biggest issue lately). The job I’ve been offered is a job I’ve done before so the only value lies in its consistency. On the other hand my current job only brings value in the forms of a little more pay and some education (I’m not fond of the job as a whole thus far, and the type of education is not hard to come by). Anyone have thoughts? Maybe share if you had a similar fork in the road? Thank you!!
