For months now, PNC Bank has sent me threatening letters about my business account. "URGENT ACTION REQUIRED! Contact us to verify your account information and avoid adverse action." I have contacted them by phone, online, I even had an appointment in person with my local branch manager, who was apologetic and who I sincerely believe tried to fix it. But the letters keep coming. Today, I took adverse action of my own. They actually refused to close my account, saying I need to make an appointment and come back to do that. But it now has a balance of zero dollars. I'm aware of the subreddit rule against business promotion, but there is an exception for relevant replies. With that in mind, I'd like to hear recommendations on who you use for small business banking and how they treat you. My needs are fairly minimal; I basically need a place to deposit checks. Considering going to an online bank or a credit union. If it matters, I'm in Southeast Florida, and the business primarily does IT consulting work.
