Hi - I'm looking for any +/- feedback from very small (currently sole prop) who have experience with using virtual assistant(s). I've spent weeks (months) in analysis paralysis so I would be eternally grateful for any input. Here's my situation: I have a service business (US). Ideally I would hire someone to help me in a client-facing role providing the services that I provide. Unfortunately that isn't feasible atm for a variety of reasons. Since I need help doing *something* it makes more sense to outsource the grind of the admin tasks (which I hate doing and therefore procrastinate until they're on fire). This admin work isn’t overly complicated and could easily be 100% remote (although I would need to carefully evaluate security on what is shared). It also wouldn't take more than 10-15 hours/week. I'm not completely averse to hiring an employee (loads of SAHM via NextDoor in my 'hood) but I want to explore this first as I'd *really* like to avoid the expense/headache of payroll. I've looked at several services and their pricing structures have a massive swing so I'm assuming a/the primary difference is whether or not they're US-based. I have no problem using a non-US-based service provided 1) I'm not contributing to a sweatshop situation and 2) the assistant is able to speak/write English well. Again, grateful for any input from those who've gone before me!
