I used to offer a guesstimate on my services. Also as a consumer, I hate to waste someone’s time. If I could just send a picture and describe the issue and get any idea of the cost it’s always helpful. It often feels like repair people don’t understand the word budget. Also, if you come from depression era parents, you always think to yourself, could I fix this myself? Also, a phone call goes a long way. If I actually talk to someone, I’m more likely to use them in the future.
