My daughter (3.5) has her own bed in our room and has been a great sleeper most of her life. Recently in August she was diagnosed with epilepsy as she has had 3 seizures now. All 3 of them have been at night while she was sleeping. In the last month or so now she has been very nervous and scared at night. I dont know if this is related because she doesn’t say specifically what she’s afraid of other than she mentions being afraid of shadows sometimes. Anyways I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what I can say or do for her to help her feel better and less afraid. I always lay in the room in my bed watching her until she falls asleep. What used to be a 5 minute process of getting her to bed has now turned into 2+ hours some nights. Thanks everyone!
