Yeah I’ve been down this exact road. Hiring in-house was too slow and local recruiters were overcharging for mid-level roles. I tested a few global staffing setups including 1840 and they were decent but I eventually went with Columbus EOR because they handled both the compliance and onboarding parts really cleanly. I liked that I could bring my own hires too and they’d handle payroll + legal in whatever country. Definitely worth checking out if you want long-term hires, not just contractors.
