This is a solid DIY approach, especially for someone technical. The N8N part is interesting, but that seems like a huge time sink to build and maintain, especially with API changes and keeping the workflows from breaking. Did you find yourself spending a lot of time debugging it all? I work at eesel AI, and we see a lot of e-com stores like Tulipy and FARSÁLI who need this exact setup but don't want to build it from the ground up. The main difference is you can just plug it into Shopify and your helpdesk, and it trains on your past tickets and product info automatically. Gets you to the same place without having to build the plumbing yourself. It's cool to see the full custom build-out though. Serious dedication.
