Hey r/SaaS, Quick question - how do you currently keep tabs on your competitors? Do you manually check their sites every week? Use some expensive tool? Or just... not really do it? I'm asking because I've been manually doing this for months and it's been a nightmare. Spent 2 hours every week checking 5 competitors - screenshots, pricing comparisons, feature updates, the whole thing. Then last month I realized something horrible. One of my competitors had changed their pricing THREE MONTHS AGO and I had no idea. Cost me actual revenue because I was undercharging the whole time. So I kind of snapped and started building Spotti. What it does : Basically auto-tracks competitor websites and emails you when they change something important. Pricing updates, new features, landing page changes, that kind of stuff. Why I'm posting : Before I spend the next 2 weeks coding this thing properly, I'm trying to figure out if this is actually a real problem or just me being obsessive. The questions I'm trying to answer : 1. Does anyone else waste time manually checking competitors? 2. Would you actually pay $15/mo for this? (For context: [Competitors.app](http://Competitors.app) charges $50/mo, SEMrush is like $130/mo) 3. What features would make this a must-have vs just another tool you sign up for and never use? Current plan : \- Free tier: 2 competitors, weekly email digests \- Pro tier: 5 competitors, $15/mo, instant Slack/email notifications If you'd be willing to share your thoughts or fill out a quick validation
