I am not sure if this is the right area or not to post this, but I got a letter in the mail from the michigan treasury collections department stating that I owe them taxes. Back story, I tried to start up a 3d printing business, made a EIN number and that was as far as I got. I never started the business or made any money or anything with it. Is there a way to not pay this or am i stuck paying taxes even though i never did anything with the business?
