So I started work in june. It is as a caregiver, so it is a 1099- self employment, sort of, but because of how the government program is set up it's not full self-employment. I work for people and have set wages, but I can use my hours(the hours the client have to be taken care of) throughout the month at my discretion, it's.. odd, but it's all legal, just how the government program for ARChoices works. Problem is, is I don't know if I owe quarterly(if so, I missed a quarter, I'm pretty sure..) or if it's yearly, my job can't offer me any advice on it but pointing me to government sites and given the oddness of the job setup itself I have no idea. I've been putting aside 30% of all my income in preparation for taxes, I just don't know the process or the specifics to my job to handle it. I don't make a lot of money (14$ an hour, 6 hours a day, 7 days a week), so hiring a tax professional is kinda spooky to me because I fear how much that might cost, but if I need to I'll start looking into it. Any advice would be super useful! I'm so blind right now and I want to do this right!
